THE MEANING OF SOME NIGHTMARES

  1. Natural catastrophes
Maybe you had dreamed about tsunamis, tornados, volcanoes… Natural catastrophes. The scientist relate that with a feeling of anxiety and fear. You are insignificant in front of the enormous powers of nature.

  1. Being trapped
These nightmares are common in people suffering from claustrophobia, because they have an incredible fear of being locked in small places. However, these nightmares can also be experienced by people fearing their inability to break away from current bad situations (like annoying relationship or dead end job).

  1. Teeth dropping
These nightmare aren’t so frequent. Some people describe it as a profoundly anxious.  The person starts feeling their teeth dropping suddenly from their mouth. This nightmare has been linked to profoundly personal worries about other people’s judgments on his physical appearance.

  1. Being Naked
Maybe you dream about being naked. Psychologists argue these dreams are symptoms of an inner fear of what other people might believe or say about us, normally about our physical appearance. It’s more common in kids.

  1. Missing important events
It’s a very common dream about missing important events, as our own wedding. These dreams represent the fears and anxieties that we feel in important events, an expectation on us. We have the fear of missing that, so we dream about it.

  1. Not able to talk or move
When you can’t scream or talk in a dream that means that you are in an impotence and unfair mood. You try and try, but nobody can hear you, that means that you had some communication problems too.
If you dream about not being able to run or your body doesn’t react, that means that you have some self-esteem problems and you are very insecure.
